Pricing is quoted from each agency's own site, checked on 2026-10-05. Where an agency publishes no figure, the table says so rather than estimating one.

How to read this page

Three things separate the agencies below more than anything else: whether they publish a price, whether they name the clients they have worked with, and whether they sell continuous output or single projects. Those are the first three questions worth asking, and they are the ones this page answers for every entry.

Pricing transparency in this market is poor. Of the agencies checked, a substantial minority publish no figure anywhere, and several publish a starting price on a homepage while their actual pricing page routes to a quiz or a contact form. Where that is the case, the entry says so. It is not a judgement about the work; it is a fact about how long it will take you to get a number.

What we did not do

We have not commissioned work from any agency on this page, so nothing here tests delivered output. We scored what each company publishes about itself. That method rewards agencies that publish well and understates good work sitting behind a thin website, which is a real limit and worth holding in mind.

A monthly subscription is the wrong shape for a single launch film or a one-off brand piece, where a project studio will serve you better. Pixel8 is an editing and motion partner rather than a full production company, so filmed shoots on location are outside what it delivers directly.

Questions

What does a video editing agency cost in 2026?

Published rates on this page run from $149 per month for a small short-form package up to $15,000 per month minimum for a full creative subscription, with per-video animation work commonly published between $2,400 and $8,500. Eight of the 28 agencies we checked publish no pricing at all and quote on request.

What is the difference between a video editing agency and a video production company?

An editing agency works on footage that already exists: cutting, motion graphics, subtitles, repurposing and versioning, usually on a monthly subscription. A production company films new material, which costs more per asset and is priced per project. Several companies on this page do both, and the entries say which.

Should I hire on a subscription or per project?

Subscription suits continuous output where volume is predictable, such as weekly content or ongoing ad variants. Per project suits a single launch film or a brand piece where the creative concept carries the work. Paying a monthly retainer for two videos a year is the most common way buyers overspend.
