What Video Editing Agencies Cost in 2026
This page collects every price we could find published by a video editing agency, quoted from the page where the agency published it. Nothing here is estimated. Where a company publishes no figure, it appears in the second list rather than being given a guessed number.
The short answer
Of 29 agencies checked in October 2026, 21 publish a figure and 8 publish nothing. Monthly retainers run from $149 to a $15,000 minimum. Animated explainers run from $2,400 to $8,500 per video. Creator editing runs from $278 to $327 per long-form video, dropping with volume. Commercial and brand film work starts far higher, with one studio publishing $200,000 as a starting point.

Agencies that publish no pricing
These 8 companies quote on request. That is a legitimate way to sell scoped work, and it says nothing about quality. It does mean a conversation before you get a number.

- Yum Yum Videos
- Design Pickle No published prices. Pricing page: "Flat-rate, not hourly. No retainers. We size your plan to what you need. You get the number on the call." FAQ: "Plans are scoped to what your team actually needs ... so we set the number on the call". "All plans are on quarterly or annual billing cycles."

How to read a quote
Three things make two quotes stop being comparable. Whether revisions are included or billed. Whether the rate covers only the edit, or also thumbnails, versioning and reformatting for other aspect ratios. And whether turnaround is a commitment or an aspiration. On the published rate cards collected here, faster turnaround is almost always what the higher tier is actually selling.
A note on the starting-price pattern: several agencies publish a "from" figure on a homepage while their pricing page routes to a quiz or a contact form. The figure is real, but it is the floor for the simplest possible job. Where we found that, the entry says so.
Questions
How much does a video editing agency cost per month?
Published monthly rates from the agencies we checked start at $149 for a small short-form package and run to a $15,000 minimum on an annual term for a full creative subscription. The most common band for an ongoing editing retainer sits between roughly $800 and $4,000 per month.
How much does a single explainer video cost?
Published per-video figures run from $2,400 for an animated explainer at the entry tier to $8,500 for a 60 to 90 second animation, with one studio on this site publishing $200,000 as a starting point for commercial work. Per-video creator editing is far cheaper, from $278 to $327 for a long-form horizontal edit.
Why do so many agencies hide their pricing?
Most price by scope and want to qualify a buyer first. That is a real reason rather than an excuse, but it has a cost to you in time. Of the 31 agencies checked for this site, 11 publish no figure anywhere.
